Shipboard credit?

I just received our boarding documents for our Divina cruise and i've found a special service voucher with "shipboard credit 50 USD" on it. How does this work and what can we use it for?

It gets added as a credit to your account. You charge items onboard to your account (drinks, service charge, excursions, whatever) and the $50 is offset against this expenditure, reducing your bill.
