Iron onboard

We are aware NCL ships do not have launderette facilities on board.My DW wants to know if they provide irons for touch up ironing purposes.

Not interested in responses regarding dry cleaning/pressing or laundry bag sevices.

 

We will be on a 21 day vacation with pre & post cruise stays between a 14 day cruise and she will want to do some touch up ironing.

On both our NCL trips, we asked our room steward to bring us an iron. They were happy to oblige. An Ironing board was also provided. I did what I needed to do and the board and iron were taken away about an hour later. The Steward DID tell us we could only have use for an hour. Hope that helps? :)

We were provided an iron on the Pearl last year and we too were told that we could only keep it an hour. There were three of us using the iron and they did allow us a few more minutes, but not much. A few years ago on the Pearl we were in a penthouse suite and we were provided an iron for the week.

Try Downy Wrinkle Release spray. It comes in a little travel sized bottle. I took it with us on our first cruise and it works perfectly. I still use it frequently for work clothes.
