We are considering a 1 night pre-cruise stay in August. I am interested in recommendations. We would like to stay in Times Square area and considering the Muse?

Looks like a really nice hotel with good reviews on Trip Advisor.

 

You have to understand that most posters are looking for the nicest hotel for the least amount of money and are often on tight budgets for NYC. Many folks don't have the luxury of picking their hotel and just paying the price - it's more a question of having X dollars and trying to find a good hotel will fit the money.

I see that many posters are looking for low cost. But if you were not as worried about cost as you were quality - then what would you recommend say in the $350 a night range?

It's not in Times Sq, but the Helmsley Park Lane on Central Park is quite nice and you can get a room for $300-ish.
