iroc Posted July 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2013 Hi, I will be taking a cruise that hits Barcelona and Palma de Mallorca later this month. We will be there from 8-6. I was wondering if anyone could suggest something "of the beaten path" or "can't miss" things to do or see while there. Thank you! I am open for anything... rlse9 Posted July 7, 2013 #3 Share Posted July 7, 2013 The Drach Caves in Mallorca are incredible in my opinion. The cathedral in town is also well worth seeing. We really enjoyed our trip up to Montserrat from Barcelona but there's also no lack of things to see in the city, amazing architecture, Parc Guell, the cathedrals... Deebs2 Posted July 9, 2013 #5 Share Posted July 9, 2013 I'm in Mallorca right now for a week. Palma was a great town right by the port. We actually saw the RCL ship. You could really hang out there for a shopping/cathedral /relaxing day Train to Soller would be a fabulous day... You catch the train in Palma and its about an hour train ride each way, plus a 15 minute tram to the port. It was beautiful. Not off the beaten path, but would make for a nice day
