How many Lock from Paris to Normandy and Back

Greetings, we are sailing Viking Spirit this Christmas on the Paris/Normandy/Paris cruise. How many locks will we pass through on this sailing? Also, for those that have been on this itinerary, how did you find the replacement tour for Monet Gardens as I am sure there will be not much to see in the dead of winter at the actual gardens. TIA. I can't remember exactly, but I think there were three or four locks.

 

Regarding the Monet gardens... We were there for the first cruise of the Ama season (March 30), and there was nothing growing. There were a few pansies in bloom, but my personal opinion was that they'd planted them just for us. ROTFLOL.

 

Still, I enjoyed going to see the gardens and his house. Each season has its own beauty.

I was thinking that there were 6 locks... We went through most at night. That's a pretty small number compared to other rivers....
