What's different on a singles cruise?

My friend and I will sail Alaska's Inside Passage on Serenade of the Seas, July 3. I just saw on another website that that cruise is also booked as a "singles cruise." Since we didn't book under "singles cruise," will we miss activities for singles? Besides enjoying the spectacular scenery, etc., we would like to make new friends. Any advice?

Usually you will have to be part of the singles group to attend their private functions. But, Im sure you will still get to interact with them often during the cruise in the lounges,casino and disco and excursions.

As far as I know, the singles group will have separate activities that are included in the fare, if you book through them.

 

However, if you are on the cruise, you can contact that agency now and usually for a small fee, you can join and be included as part of their group.
