It looks as if we are finally going to receive a new design, and quite possibly Mille. It will be interesting to see what the following months bring. kybluecruiser Posted July 20, 2013 #177 Share Posted July 20, 2013 Cruise radio is interviewing Cahill and other beards on the sunshine right now. Maybe we can learn a few more, tidbits about the new ship in the days to come.

Very Interesting indeed, thanks for sharing. Most likely the Carnival Vista will be Project Mille.

TheTravelista Posted July 21, 2013 #180 Share Posted July 21, 2013 (edited) Lol. Notice how they aren't commenting LOL...you weren't even the first CC member to guess the name of the ship would be Carnival Vista. spencercoop posted about it here 8 hours prior to you making this thread: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1642222&highlight=carnival+vista&page=2 Anyone who was intrigued enough to search for Carnival's recent trademarks would have been able to make this same educated guess. Perhaps you should wait a bit before patting yourself on the back. Edited July 21, 2013 by TheTravelista

Eng23 Posted August 1, 2013 #183 Share Posted August 1, 2013 One thing I have noticed that no one else has mentioned about the model and one of the drawings of the potential possibilities, there is no Whale Tail.

Bookbug53 Posted August 1, 2013 #187 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Our inside on the Allure was almost the same size as an inside on CCL. However, I could see the importance of having more area in a cabin on CCL as you'll spend more time in it. It gives you a place to rest when you are tired of the long lines on the lido deck, the huge mobs of people on the promenade deck and pool area. Also, with a lack of entertainment and activities, you can sit in the room and watch the colorado feeds on the TV- wow!We really didn't spend much time in our room as, along with the ports, we had a lot of shows to see, rode the flowrider, merry go round, attended the parades, got pics with dreamworks charactors, etc. This new CCL ship looks like a continuation of CCL trying to cram more people into an old design, nothing at all innovative. I remember when the sunshine came out, you said that the it would not be crowded, that CCL's cracker jack team of designers would make a crowded ship feel less crowded by adding 400 more people to it- yeah, we all know how that went. Really? You want a merry go round on a cruise ship? I tried to enjoy the parade on Freedom of the Seas but the crush of people made it impossible. And I do not need pictures of grown adults dressed in cartoon characters to make my cruise enjoyable. I cruise to enjoy the ocean, go to foreign destinations, and relax. If I want a circus or fair atmosphere that is where I will go. I hardly spend anytime in my room and I am out and about busy all day or just enjoying the sunshine. However when I am in my room I want decent space!:p
TwinPrincessMermaids Posted August 1, 2013 #188 Share Posted August 1, 2013 I was like uhuh uhuh and then i saw "don't need adults dressed like cartoons" and my happy uhuh turned into uh uh. I LOVE my cartoon characters.. But i have no care for land based things like merry go rounds, ice rinks, parades etc. Cruising is cruising. Besides I'll have carousals and parades in my land section of my trip! Electrical Parade here I come! :D Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Forums mobile app

I love going to Disney, Storyland, Santa's Village and anywhere else they pop up and I can take my grand kids to so I can see them. :p I just don't think they would be a big selling point for me on a cruise ship just as the 'circus' isn't. I ADORE the Electrical Parade!
MrBanana1240 Posted August 19, 2013 #190 Share Posted August 19, 2013 It will be the Vista. I'm gonna miss the Atrium. It's one of my favorite parts of the ship. Will it has FunShip 2.0? Seaside Theater??

kcwingwalker Posted November 7, 2013 #192 Share Posted November 7, 2013 For those of you who have not heard yet, there has been some information unofficially released on Carnival's new 2016 ship. Here we go... 1. There will be no large Atrium - only 3 decks stopping at deck 5: 2. Deck 4 will have the Casino from the existing conference room to the Blush Dining Room as exists on Breeze; 3. Ship will be approximately 21 feet longer at bow and 30 feet at aft; 4. It will be the same width as the Dream Class; 5. There will be 3 pools (with a 1/2 in 1/2 out pool where the current Limelight Lounge is on the Breeze); 6. More cabins with a capacity of 5,100 persons (an increase of 400 persons from existing Breeze); 7. Cabins will be in existing empty space above deck 5 of Breeze Atrium; 8. Deck 5 will have a number of "specialty" restaurants (paid) with a variety of themes; 9. There will be a "Crew Serenity" area at bow of ship with same style chairs, hammocks etc. (no spa) like the existing Serenity areas on board Carnival ships; 10. It will be around 5,000 tons heavier than existing Dream Class (130,000) and will most likely be called Carnival Sunrise, Carnival Vista, or Carnival Splash, most likely Sunrise! All of these are rumors that I have heard. Much of this will probably be true (reliable source) but some of it may not be true. Your thoughts? Wow! Thanks for sharing!
