Hi,

We will be sailing from Budapest to Amsterdam on The Scenic Pearl on July 21st.

If we were to choose a day to spend on board as a "sea day". which would be the best area for views, scenery etc.?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Linda

The most scenic cruising, in my opinion is from where you enter the Rhine from the Main at Mainz to Koblenz, where the Mosel flows into the Rhine, with castles, small towns and vineyards.. The Wachau Valley on the Danube is also scenic, but the most enjoyable part of the cruise is generally the time spent in the towns, whether on a guided tour or just wandering around. In most of the towns, you will be docked in the center of town, Nuremburg being the most major exception, where you will probably have to be bussed to the town center from a commercial docking area.
