sebas030 Posted July 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2013 Hi all, I have a few months old Canon t3i. It came with a 18-55, a 55-250 and now I just bought a 50mm. But what made my photos really really great, IMO ;) .... It's my polarized filter... Omg... I took alot of pictures with filter at it's deepest color, and the same photo with the lightest color ( like no filter ) ..... WOW... Everyone at the office thinks I used photoshop of something like it. If you love deep blue sky with pure white clouds, transparent water and great contrast... Then you NEED one !! I will not cruise without this filter again !! Have fun !
awboater Posted July 13, 2013 #2 Share Posted July 13, 2013 A polarizer can often provide great photos, especially in strong - harsh daylight. A polarizer and ND filter are about all I use for filters anymore. A slightly underexposed photo can also provide dramatic results. I typically use a -0.3Ev exposure compensation on all of my daylight photos as a standard setting.
sebas030 Posted July 13, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted July 13, 2013 I am with you on this one. I prefer under exposed photos also... I am waiting for the next time my camera shop will offer night photography course and long exposure photo. Under exposed and with the filters made for great photos in the forest also.. Makes the green so much more intense. Have fun !
