Atlantis Beach Tower for the day

I booked the Atlantis Beach Tower for the one day of a cruise as it was cheaper than the Comfort Inn.

Good idea or bad? I did email them and they replied that we could get our wristbands early.

If the $$ is right, it's not a bad idea.. make sure all taxes and fees are included. As for wristbands.. doesn't matter what time you get them.. Pools don't open til 9 and the waterpark doesn't open til 10am.

It was $207 and after taxes and fees came to $290. I booked via Expedia but with free cancellation.

Seems to me that's cheaper than Comfort Inn which I got a price of $400 on Expedia with fees.

Hope I'm not missing anything. Even if I was it's still cheaper than paying DCL.

The booking is usually for 2 ppl. If you have more, you'll pay for add'l ppl in the room (about $40 pp).

You might want to look into comfort suites directly.. if you don't use the room, you don't pay the extra fees and gratuities.. just the 18% tax and extra person charges.

My booking on expedia for Atlantis is for a family of 4. But I haven't checked Comfort Suites website lately. Thanks for the reminder!
