mnwildfan2 Posted June 28, 2005 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2005 We'll be taking our first RCI cruise in 5/06. After reading the RCI webpage it says that we cannot join C&A until after this trip. However, we sailed Celebrity in 6/04. It looks like you can't transfer between loyalty programs until multiple cruises, but I'm wondering if I call RCI if they will let us join based on our Celebrity cruise? Has anyone had any success with this? Also, if it's not likely that we'll get to join C&A before the cruise, do you think that RCI would be responsive to our suggestion that the loyalty programs be connected from the beginning? DH and I are just beginning a lovely life of cruising and although it might not sound like much being allowed to join the C&A and get the points for our 14 night cruise would definately inspire some loyalty when we consider our next cruise. Thanks for any input.
mrscintn Posted June 28, 2005 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2005 No you will not be able to sign up for C & A prior to your cruise based on your Celebrity sailing. But you will be able to sign up while onboard and receive credit for your Hawaii sailing. The Celebrity and Crown & Anchor cross benefits do not kick in until you have reached the Select/Platinum level on either Celebrity or Royal Caribbean.
