We have booked this hotel for our pre cruise hotel. We are flying in and need to know the best way to get to hotel from airport and then from hotel to cruise port for the Carnival Conquest.

 

Also would like to know how far is this hotel to the french quarter and bourbon street. If close enough, safe to walk? What areas not to adventure into? Any restaurant or don't miss place of interest?

We've stayed there (and would again) when we took the Triumph out of NOLA-2011. Take a taxi from the airport and then a taxi to the Pier Each way is straight forward but not walkable .

 

Also would like to know how far is this hotel to the french quarter and bourbon street. If close enough, safe to walk? Magazine Street turns into Decatur four block easterly easy and safe walk. What areas not to adventure into? Any restaurant Oliviers on Decatur http://www.olivierscreole.com/ or don't miss place of interest?

 

We Love NOLA- hopefully your flight gets in at a reasonable time to enjoy some of the City. Enjoy your cruise also
