Dream & flight times on return

Hi All,

 

We are booked on the Dream for December. What time would you recommend our flight home out of Orlando? I know the ship will dock in the early AM, and it's an hour drive--what time would be comfortable for the flight? I don't want to be stressed about getting to the airport but also don't want to sit around for hours.

I would book a flight any time after 12pm

Could be iffy with an 11am if you want to take the chance.

 

Luggage needs to be checked in 60 minutes before.. and MCO is a zoo especially on weekends.

Allow enough time for travel, get through baggage check and through security without adding stress

AGREE!! security lines at MCO are TERRRIBLE and long. I would even say nothing before 1230 or 1pm. When we cruised RCL into Canaveral we had a 2pm flight, due to customs and the lines down in customs (also thanks to a handful of passengers not claiming their duty free overages) we weren't off the ship until 11am, and we docked at 6!

I'd feel comfortable with a 1 PM flight.(erring on the side of caution) No need to worry all week about whether your flight is too early.
