Terry in NJ Posted August 1, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 1, 2013 i've been reading up the the recent reviews and haven't seen any comments on this.... The weather has not been all that great on the recent Canada cruises. Has the retractable "cover" been utilized for the aft adults only pool? Do they open and close it daily based on conditions? I would still love to be able to "sit outside" if it's cool or raining on our upcoming voyage. Thanks so much.
wmowan8485 Posted August 1, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Just off Glory last month and the retractable roof stayed closed over the aft pool. It was somewhat tropical back there... :)
Ronsangel Posted August 1, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 1, 2013 Just got off the Glory Sunday. The retractable roof was closed the entire time. Tropical is an understatement :) Even the water was hot...kind of like being in a big 'ol bathtub. It was a very humid area...we only stayed for a couple of minutes and then decided we needed to feel some air movement!
cruisenk Posted August 1, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2013 We were on the June 30th sailing and the roof was closed the majority of the time, however they did open it during breakfast at least one of the days. I agree - I like the fresh air!

It was a very humid area...we only stayed for a couple of minutes and then decided we needed to feel some air movement! We, too, just got off the Glory this past Sunday, the 28th and the retractable roof was definitely NOT closed the entire time. And it seems that the water was heated at times and not at others. We spent at least 2-3 days around there where the roof was not covered.
