How large is the Vision of the Seas?

Recommended Posts

My only other cruise was on the Norwegian Star - which is huge. I loved how big the ship was...I never felt "confined."

I heard the Vision of the Seas is substantially smaller. Do you think I will notice? My husband says I won't, but now I'm all worried.

Thanks cruisers! :)

The Vision is 50 feet shorter than the Norwegian Star and 13,000 less tons. The Star is a couple of decks highers. Basically, the ships are comparable in size. If I had to choose between the two the size would not be a consideration. You should be more concerned if you prefer NCL's freestyle cruising versus RCI's more traditional cruising and which ship has a better itinerary.

Well, I really liked Freestyle cruising a lot. But having never tried the main dining like RC has, I figured what the heck? :)

Also, we're sailing almost the same itinerary as we did on the Star - so I know I like that!

Thanks!

I was on the Vision last Christmas, And I never felt confined there was awalys some place that was quiet just to relax, to tell you the truth I feel more confined when ever we drive down 50 and hit the Arden fair mall.
