Pearl Harbor/City Tour Question

I'm trying to decide whether or not to book the Pearl harbor/City tour with Carnival or independently. Anyone have experience with Carnival's excursion? How long was it and was it what you expected it to be. Was Pearl Harbor the first or second part of the tour? I'm leaning toward Carnival's excursion, because it is only 4.5 hours; and we would like to spend some time walking around the State Capitol and Chinatown after the tour.

On your own, it's free to get to see the Arizona. You can book a time early by contacting the Park Service for a small fee - well worth not spending your time waiting around.
