Luggage from ship to airport

I read on Carnival's website that certain guests are eligible for their luggage to be transferred to airport for them as well as boarding pass & airline check in done on the ship. Does anyone know how you qualify for this service? I am thinking we won't be eligible because we are flying out of FLL and our port is Miami. :(

Every pax on board is eligible for Luggage Express.

 

It is available only for certain ports, ships and airports. IIRC it costs $20pp +luggage fees.

And only available on certain airlines iirc. 6 cruises and I've struck out each time! There's also a flight time constraint. I'd be all over this if I can ever qualify.

We've used Luggage Express a couple of times and really love it. One time it was out of Miami and the other from FLL.

 

You have to signup from Guest Services about 3 days before the end of the cruise and there is usually the signup form in your cabin. But just to be on the safe side I would stop by GS early in the week and find out if your ship participates.

 

I think the earliest flight acceptable from Miami is 11:30 and the earliest from FLL is 12:30.
