Or is it lunch type food or both? On Carnival ships that have Brunch in the MDR the menu is the same and can be viewed here. http://www.zydecocruiser.net/menus/CarnivalCruiseLineMenus.htm Early morning breakfast on the Lido is a continental type with cereal and fruit. Later there will be a regular buffet style hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, a couple of kinds of meat, hot cereals, potatoes, just regular breakfast buffet stuff. If your ship doesn't have what was called the Punchliners Brunch the breakfast will also be served in the MDR every morning (including debarkation morning) and lunch will be served in the MDR on sea days only. All of the menu's can be found on Sarg's link above.
paul reid Posted August 16, 2013 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2013 In the lido you can have continental breakfast or a hot buffet breakfast with eggs freshly prepared. In the mdr it's waiter service and you can order any type of breakfast. (Full English style, eggs benedict). At the brunch I had filet mignon with eggs so not your normal breakfast!! dixieva Posted August 16, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 16, 2013 We will be sailing on the Pride in a few months. We always look forward to breakfast in the MDR. Not interested in a brunch since we are early risers. So does this mean that we won't be able to go to the dining room around 8 a.m. for breakfast? Is the only choice the brunch which I am assuming is a little later?
