Just off Grandeur! Aug 9 cruise to Bermuda

Can't believe it is over already!! :rolleyes:

 

We had a great cruise on the Grandeur to Bermuda. The ship looks really nice. New carpets, furniture, really nice art work in the staircases. They did a great job refurbishing the ship. No sign of the fire.

 

We had pretty good weather too. A few showers on & off on Monday, but I would say we lucked out. Last day at sea wasn't too great. Windy, a bit chilly, no sun until late afternoon. Bermuda was beautiful as always.

 

No sewer smell until last sea day when I vaguely could smell it in our bathroom for a short time. But I never smelled it anywhere on the ship like others did on previous cruises.

 

Food was 'good' not great. Some of the dinners in the Main Dining room were not that great. Our servers were excellent! (Angel and Marco) Dinners in Chops & Giovannis were very good though.

 

I will write a more detailed cruise review in the Cruise Review section... Still trying to unpack and get back into reality! :eek:

 

Overall, we really enjoyed the Grandeur and I'm sure you will too! We booked our cruise for next year while on board. We are going on 9-night Explorer of the Seas next July! :D

Did you bring 2 bottles of wine on? If so, do you need to take them out of your carryon or do they take your word for it?
