Dune Buggy & Snorkel -- book through Carnival or private?

DH and I are cruising May 2014 and Carnival just posted their "Beach Buggy and Snorkel at Punta Sur" excursion that we want to do. However, I've been researching private options and Island Marketing seems to offer the exact same one for $25 less per person, saving us $50 over Carnival.

 

Has anyone booked this excursion through Island Marketing and if so, was it safe and reliable? This will be our first cruise and we planned on sticking with Carnival-only excursions but the price tag of the private one is way better!
