lgdavies Posted August 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted August 22, 2013 Any advice to securing a table for 10 at one of the two main dining rooms on the Gem? It's Freestyle, but our party of 10 would prefer to have dinner together each night at the same time. Thanks for any advice you can give.... Demonyte Posted August 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2013 Just contact the Maitre D' of the restaurant or restaurant reservations once you get onboard, it's that easy.

NayRN Posted August 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted August 22, 2013 Recently of the Gem (:() and we saw multiple tables for 10+ set up in both MDRs! As a matter of fact, the one night there were so many large groups set up at 5:30, it looked like a private party and not the MDR!!
ship-disturber Posted August 23, 2013 #5 Share Posted August 23, 2013 As one poster said it is as easy as going into the restaurant and talking to the restaurant manager. They will actually reserve a table for your group at a certain time each night. Large groups do this all of the time.

tobyt Posted August 24, 2013 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2013 Recently on Pearl to Alaska and there were large numbers of big group tables, our group had a standing reservation each night but needed more than 1/2 to be seated, if parts of your group tends to be late it can be a challenge. It worked great for us but had to speak with head on day 1 lunch to arrange. We had the table moved a couple of times which was fun too! Enjoy your trip!
