Halloween vs Eligant Night ?

I know that the first formal night would be Sunday night, the first day at sea of a 7 day cruise but the second one (Eligant Night) is Thursday since they do not usually have them the night before you get back to FL. Will on that Thursday night it is Halloween Night for our cruise leaving Costa Maya.

My question is: Are they going to change Eligant Night or are they going to let everyone DRESS UP and still come to the MDR? Anyone sailed over halloween before?

I have sailed over Halloween before but never has it fallen on elegant night until now for me. On my upcoming Hawaii cruise elegant and Halloween night coincide. Several from our roll call have asked John Heald what will happen. He stated they might move elegant night because of this. We do have more sea days than your cruise (there are 10 sea days on our 15 day cruise) so maybe no possibility on a shorter cruise. Sorry I know I have not really answered your question but just letting you know that John H. says the possibility of moving is there. I myself hope they will change it as I am not a fan of Halloween and the dress up.
