smoking in the casinos

LA CAL GAL, I do agree that you more accurately answered the OP. I have also noticed on other RCCI ships I have been on that have smoking bars that they also have extremely efficient ventilation systems.

 

I am curious, did you notice any difference in the amount of activity in the two separate areas, smoking vs. nonsmoking?

 

The problem is that, while there may be efficient ventilation systems, there is no way that you can avoid breathing some second hand smoke in any are that is next to, or adjacent to, a smoking area without there being absolute physical separation.

We are taking the September 8, 2013 New England cruise on the Explorer of the Seas. Does anyone know if there is specific smoking policy on that ship? I know that smoking is allowed on balconies, but are the casinos usually filled with smoke?

Yes.

 

However, on formal nights, the casino is non smoking.
