Yep...we will be doing it for the 3rd time in February. It is awesome in that there is something for everyone...young and old. If someone is bored ...it is there own fault.

In our case, everyone does what they want during the day and then we all meet for dinner. The kids go off and do something......my parents read a book by the pool...etc. It really seems to work for everyone.

Each person can decide just how "busy" the want to be. We often pick "our table" out by one of the pools (usually aft for us) and that serves as "home base". You can usually find a least a couple of our group hanging out at the table. We play cards, read books, play games....it truly does work well.

I hope you have a great time :D

My first cruise was in 2000 onboard the Sensationwith my whole immediate family. Mom & Dad, brothers, their wives and all the kids. It was the start of my addiction. But I was the only one--with my own kids to ever cruise again.

I Only cruise with my whole family. There aren't many of us, but, DH, myself, 2 DD and 2 DS, my sis and her beau, and of course Grandma, (my Mom) who does not ever, ever fly, and never, ever will lol, so we always include her as we know how addicted to cruising she became after her first. As said earlier, it is so wonderful that everyone can do whatever they want during the day,and somehow we always seem to find each other even for a few minutes throughout the day. Then we enjoy ourselves all together at dinner, and either pair up or go do our own things again. To me it is the best vacation for all involved. That is why we all just booked for next summer!!

Happy Cruising!!

:)

This January will be our 4th cruise and all of our cruises have included family/freinds. My dh has 10 siblings and I have 4. all with spouses/children.while not all of the family's have went at the same time, whoever can make it.. goes on the next cruise. We just get the word out.."a cruise early next year" and we start planning. we make sure we get same dinner times, and before the cruise we talk about excursions and who is interested, etc..I like the " same table" plan that the other poster had I think I will initiate this on our next cruise. Thanks

In January we are going on a cruise with my DH's whole family. I am very excited about it. Being with family is the best time and now being on cruise together can't be beat. We will have me and DH, his mom and dad, his brother and wife, his sister and then his other brother and wife and their 4 kids. Can't wait.

Our core group consist of my sister, my husband's brother and sister, and our spouses. We begin with the 8 mentioned above and then invite as many other family members and friends who would like to go. Over the past few cruises, our group has grown to at least 14. It works out great! Our only "rule" is we have dinner together. Most of the time we do shore excusions together, but not always. On the ship, we all do whatever we enjoy, even DH and myself. I like the casino, he likes the gym. We usually leave notes in the cabin or on each other's cabin doors if we need to get in touch. Again, we all have a blast, looking forward to our next cruise on the Triumph.

By the way, we have also booked as part of a larger group in the past, and this has never been a problem, even with other groups on board. Just expect lines and be patient!

I was on the Ecstasy in May '05 with my DH and three kidos plus my mom, dad, brother, and nephew. There was 9 of us total (4 kids) ages 4 -62 and we had a blast!!

We are booked on the same cruise in November and this time we are taking my brother/sister in law and their three kids. The kids will outnumber us this time!! We are all so excited!!
