Hotel in Galveston December

I just wanted to let you know if you are going to cruise out of Galveston in December that I just booked a room for four at the Quality Inn & Suites in Galveston. The rate that I received on the Quality Inn website was $53.95 plus taxes. This rate was cheaper going directly to the hotels website than any other travel sites (ie:travelocity, orbitz, etc...) The hotels address is 5924 Seawall Blvd. This rate included two queen beds, oceanview with balcony and cont. breakfast. Haven't ever stayed here so can't really let you know if it is a good property or not but I thought the rate was very good.:)

That should be a nice room at a fair value. That property has changed hands a lot through the years, but was a quality hotel when it was first built. It is next to a large Kroger store for last minute supplies, wine, food etc. There are a lot of good restaurants on the Seawall as well.
