kittycrusin08 Posted September 5, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Under the old rewards system, where did Diamond begin, based on the number of cruises you needed or number of days sailed? I cannot find the information on the Carnival site. Thanks for your help!!!!;)
Rowan555 Posted September 5, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2013 There was no diamond under the old system. Platinum was the highest "tier", then you had (and still have) milestone cruises at 25, 50, etc.
Sargent_Schultz Posted September 5, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Diamond never has been based on number of cruises. In it's short history, it has always been 200 days or more.
kittycrusin08 Posted September 5, 2013 Author #4 Share Posted September 5, 2013 Thanks for the info. I knew there was a reason I could not remember, lol. It did not exist prior to VIFP!! Well, then, I have a long way to go!!! ;)

Have been platinum for 10 cruises and still a long way to go to diamond.

Even if I did manage to do a 7 day and 4 day every year, it'll still take me 8 years to get there! And by then I'm sure it'll change again and be even further out of reach. But it's not like the benefits are much better, anyway. Meredith Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
douglinc@msn.com Posted September 5, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 5, 2013 I agree, they should have left it like it was or limit the way 3-day cruise would count. Doug
