Many, many years ago I moved from Houston to San Francisco. It was such a pleasure to be away from the stifling heat and humidity that I didn't mind the chilly summers. It is rare to see temps in SF above 80, but it does happen,so to city residents, it is, indeed, hot! I now live an hour south of SF and it has been in the 90's since Friday, but low humidity.
