Cruise Line Air/Deviation

Considering this for my cruise below. Basically, all I want is to get to FLL the day before the cruise....and from FCO at around noon the day of debarkation. Carrier unimportant. How long after I "start the process" will CCL make a final decision on such an issue.

I thought you usually booked your own air.

 

Usually do--and I may this time--but cruise starts in FLL/ends in Rome. I have to by a round trip ticket from Rome [one-way costs a fortune if I do it myself]. Just checking out my options
