We are booked on the Aug.20th sailing on the Spirit to Alaska.

We have been assigned Cabin #10651, inside cabin, quad. nearly as far

astern as you can be.

Has anyone else been in this cabin or one near it?

We are curious becasue it is by the kids pool and disco and wonder about the noise level and kids running around.

Thanks

We just came back from the Spirit, and we were in cabin 10166. If you look on the map of the ship, it is the farthest aft. balcony and it is beside the kids club. It was perfect for us, because our daughter was in the kid's club, and that was just around the corner from our room. There was no problem with the noise. The only time we heard anything from the club was when they were playing in the ballpit and sometimes someone may have knocked against the wall. But, the kids club closed at 10 p.m., so there was no noise at night. The "disco" didn't seemed to be used often. The pool is only used during the day also. So, you shouldn't have a problem.

I believe our ship was at full capacity, but I didn't feel crowded at all. The only night we had to wait for a table at dinner was on the first formal night. We took pictures, and then went to Windows. When we got to Windows, we were given a pager. We went back to the area where they were taking pictures, and watched everyone have their pictures taken. We were "paged" about fifteen minutes later. We were only a group of three, so we had no problem waiting for tables other than that night.

DrTigger,

Thanks again for the response. Sounds like you enjoyed the cruise.

I have posted over on the "Roll Call" Board, but have not had anyone else respond who is on the voyage August 20th.

We're looking forward to it.
