crewser Posted July 6, 2005 #2 Share Posted July 6, 2005 Dont know if its the "best" place, but you can easily rent them in Aruba at Eagle Beach, and I think Palm Beach too. They rent them by the 1/2 hour. The tour operators will come up to you on the beach and ask if you want to rent them, or you can walk over to where they have them tied up. snappledrinker Posted July 10, 2005 #3 Share Posted July 10, 2005 I'll second the Eagle Beach location. The guys there were easy to work with and the machines were in very good shape. $55 for 1/2 hour, $65 if you have a passenger on with you.
realnurse Posted July 11, 2005 #4 Share Posted July 11, 2005 Do they limit where you can ride by ropes/markers?
snappledrinker Posted July 11, 2005 #5 Share Posted July 11, 2005 They will point out the left and right boundaries, typically resort buildings, beach points, etc. For the boundary straight out from the beach, there was a different shade of water you could not venture into or past. Plenty of space to ride. Hope this helps.
muggo11 Posted July 31, 2005 #6 Share Posted July 31, 2005 The beach right in front of Amsterdam Manor is pretty perfect. The wave runners are brand new. There's shade and sun AND a beach bar with beach chairs for rent as well. And there's a freshwater shower. (And if you get really hungry you can pop over to Mango's at Amsterdam Manor).
