what's open and what's closed in Nassau on a Sunday?

Doing my research on Nassau it appears that a lot of things are closed on Sunday. Can anyone give me a list of possible walking tour destinations that will be open on Sunday?

John Watling's rum distillery is open 7 days a week 9-5.

That is what my wife and I plan on doing when Dream ports in Nassau on Sunday, Sept 21.

wonder why so many things are closed on Sundays? Especially when there are so many ships coming in on Sept 22?

The only things closed on Sunday are government buildings and the library.

 

Sunday's get a slow start, most folks go to church in the morning, so shops open a little late and vendors are slow to open as well.

 

You'll still find plenty to do and see on a sunday.. although some things close early.. they generally close when the ships leave.
