Wine on Embarkation

Recommended Posts

I usually take it on carry on. I have had friends who have had their bags taken to the "naughty room" because the bottles looked like spirits to the people who operate the X-Rays. They were able to keep their wine but it just meant a delay in getting their luggage, having to go down to security to identify and claim their bag.

the web site does suggest you use your carry on or you have to go to the room to explain and collect it

When on a couple of weeks ago I happened to go to guest relations with a query and they had a list of 'confiscated luggage' and 'confiscated items' on the desk - it was a very long list
