Curacao for Christmas

Hello! We will be visiting Curacao on Christmas Day and don't arrive until 2pm. Will any stores or restaurants be open during our visit? Are there any special celebrations that take place?

I will be there too, on the Breeze. Not sure what is open so we booked an excursion and will have Christmas dinner back on the ship.

We're there too. I'm really sad there isn't more to do on such a beautiful island. Understandable but I'm really hoping to find some sort of tour and get to see some sites. None of the Carnival excursions seem all that appealing.

There is plenty to do walking from the ship

Otrobanda

Punda - both are world heritage sites

Scharloo and Petermaai

 

You don't need the shops to be open to enjoy these areas - normally you can pick up free guide books at the end of the floating bridge - but not sure if they will be open - so maybe download some info - as there are some great walking tours

There is plenty to do on this beautiful island. Rent a car and go explore.

The ATV tours are still available, all sightseeing companies are offering tours, plenty of taxis for private tours, beach/snorkeling day, Hato caves, Ostrich Farm, Shete Boka park... and the list goes on and on...
