Thanks for the response, but I would prefer not to spend additional money if I don't have to, which is why I wanted to know what the normal drink prices are.

You will find a good selection of drinks under the $8 limit. Unless you are a wine connisseur, I think you'll be okay. Wente Cab Sav is quite decent and falls under the limit. Also, although martinis are listed as $10, you can ask for a small and they will serve it with the classic package. Most mixed and frozen drinks are included.

Good question, as I am wondering the same thing.

 

Does anyone have links to drink menus for S-class ships? I know there are some buried in reviews, but if anyone has a direct link that would be great!

We had the classic package on our last cruise and there was a good choice of drinks. We did not feel the need to upgrade.

It seems that the change only effects those that may decide to upgrade onboard. As longs as you upgrade before the cruise, it still only costs $11.50 pp per day.
