luvmyboys2 Posted October 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Can anyone tell me what the dress attire is in the steakhouse? Are khaki's and collared shirt allowed? How about sundresses?
golfb4cruzing Posted October 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I think khakis and collared shirt are fine for a male. I don't think he can get away with a sundress.....
Rare jrmende63 Posted October 3, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Jeans and a nice shirt are allowed as well, if it is not cruise elegant night. then you would need to dress a little fancier.

randyj266 Posted October 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2013 The talk of cruise elegant is starting to worry me, just how elegant is it? I'm planning on showing up to our NYE (which I'm assuming will be our elegant night) steakhouse reservations in a tailored, pin-striped two piece. Will I be escorted to the section-8 area of the restaurant?

The workplace has become so casual, I enjoy putting on a suit from time to time. Same goes for my tux!

What's not allowed in the MDR is also not allowed in the steakhouse....but consider what you'd wear to a restaurant of comparable service and food in the states and let that be your guide.... Phlybice Posted October 3, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Can anyone tell me what the dress attire is in the steakhouse? Are khaki's and collared shirt allowed? How about sundresses? Basically, it's Carnivals definition of cruise elegant every night in the steakhouse.

Thank you. It's not often I'm able to wear my suit so I was excited to finally have the opportunity. However, after reading so many concerns about the "elegant" dress code, I started worrying that anything less than a tux would be frowned upon.
