What do you like to do in Santo Tomas? We liked the local craft sale near the dock. Felt very sorry for the residents there otherwise, though.

For the Caribbean, I, too, like Belize. So much to see and do and yes, the people are really, really nice. A trip to Lamanai is a must if at all interested in the Mayans. The cave tubing is still on my bucket list.

We took a boat tour was amazing very beautiful and it stopped in a small town where we are lunch (not part of the tour) was amazing dulce river safari maybe ?

Juneau and Skagway, Alaska were 2 perfect days - cannot wait to go back. Whale watching and the train ride were on clear days and we had magnificent views. Even the tour guides were impressed.

Also, Ephesus, Turkey, was an unexpected joy. Didn't know that much about Ephesus prior to going. The House of the Virgin Mary was very moving.

Caribbean - Basseterre, St. Kitts. Beautiful island. View of Nevis from Cockleshell Beach is idyllic.

Europe (so far) - Villefranche, train one way Monaco, other way is Nice. Very easy touring. Pretty seaside town.

Alaska - Ketchikan and Misty Fjords National Monument

Santorini. Absolutely gorgeous! Red and black sand beaches, blue domed white buildings that hug the cliffs, etc. Beach lounger rentals including umbrella (these were nice padded loungers and tropical thatched umbrella) for a couple of Euros!

It is best to visit with a small ship since this is a tender port.
