Satus of Beach Work St. James/Holetown Area

Can any of the native residents who frequent this board give me an idea of what the conditions are, what has been done and what is ongoing.

We are visiting in April and were hoping to stroll the beach, walk the boardwalk, shop Holetown and just enjoy the west coast . I know there are other beaches and places. It's personal. I spent 15 years as a child visiting Barbados. My family had a home in St. James so everytime I visit Barbados now I have to go down memory lane.

Thanks.
