kenoqueen Posted October 8, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Can anyone tell mi if Carnival offers an unlimited soda card on 3 day cruises out of Long Beach, CA? If so, what is the cost per day?
SteelerCruiser Posted October 8, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 8, 2013 I am assuming the soda package is offered on all ships and it will run you around $6/day plus 15% tip.
SadieN Posted October 8, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 8, 2013 Yes. $6per adult per day + 15% gratuity. Kids are less ($4.50?/per day + 15% gratuity. If you wait until just after sailaway you will avoid paying sales tax. FWIW you can also bring on 12 20 oz bottles of soda. We usually bring on some A&W. You can also stock up in Ensenada. SoCalKJ Posted October 8, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 8, 2013 We do that route every few months and we bring our own. You're allowed a 12-pack of soda/person. You can also bring your own case of bottled water. I will say, though, that the only drawback is having to trek back to the room EVERY time I need a refill... However, I bring a supersize soda tumbler with a lid that allows 2-3 cans worth every fill-up. I bought a couple of those at the 99Cent store - flip lid...was awesome. However, if money is no object and you don't feel like lugging it, the soda card (er, the sticker) is an option. :o
