Poor solo

There is some amazing offers out there at the moment, but mostly for couples.

When is the cruise industry going to wake up to the solo cruiser. We have the money to spend on us.don't have to consult with a partner on what we're doing, we like to pamper ourselves. Can treat ourselves to the best without worrying about the cost of it being for 2.have known couples on board saying they have a limited budget, only came on the cruise because of the cheap prices, and then spend very little. And when the cruise industry do think of the solo at the last minute cos they need to fill cabins, we are usually made to feel like 2nd class citizens by being offered the cabins they can't sell to couples. I know some of the newer ships now have solo rooms, but reading some of the reviews, these are tiny cabins, some people are not stick insects, that can ajust to a small space. I for one need to be able to swing the proverbial cat. Fred Olsen seams to be waking up to the solo cruiser, let's hope more will follow their example. Rant over FOR NOW! :(:D
