Any suggestions for these two ports? We are on the Oasis. Do you suggest booking something through cruise line or can we take taxi to a great beach for kids at either of these locals. Can we book last minute or do we need to plan ahead?

Also, there are seven of us going. Anyone ever book a private guide/driver to take you to a nice beach then shopping, etc...?

We have gone to Paradise Beach several times while in Cozumel. Great place, can get crowded though. They have a beautiful pool. You pay to use chairs, umbrellas, inflatables and obviously food and such. Makes for a great day!

We've been on may cruises with our DDs. In Cozumel, I highly recommend Crescencio Lopez. We love Punta Sur. There is a lighthouse for great views. You can view the crocodile lagoon. The beach is fabulous - my DD loves when we swing her in the hammocks. If you go with a private driver - he can stop where you like and pick you up when you are ready to go. We always have a great day away from the crowds!
