FOS best side of ship for people watching while in port

Recommended Posts

We're going on the Freedom of the Seas soon. We enjoy being on the dockside while in port. Ports of call are Labadee, Falmouth, Caymans & Cozumel. Can someone that has been on it recently tell me if port side was on the dockside most or would starboard side be better? Thanks!

Generally all RCCL ships seem to favor starboard side to port. Having said that, we did port side last year on FOS and they docked port side to pier in every port (Eastern Caribbean). But that was unusual. Seems to depend on lifeboat drills. Seems they need to lower each boat throughout the year so will dock port died to pier and lower boats (that's only my guess). So choose starboard. Odds are on your side (pun intended) :)
