dreamer320 Posted October 10, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 10, 2013 What will it be like on Christmas Day, for different site and shops? We're not beach people, so am wondering what else will be happening on the holiday. One thing we'd like to do is take a cab to one of the local churches for mass, if timing works out, but then what? Arubalisa Posted October 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 11, 2013 Sunday masses at St. Anna are in Papiamento with the exception of 11 am which is in English. Contact them beforehand to find out the times of masses on Christmas day. Stores will be closed. Museums will be closed. Tours and excursions will operate as normal. Arubalisa Posted October 11, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 11, 2013 On Christmas Day in Aruba ... we would book an excursion through the ship! LuLu ~~~~ Yes, unless you are doing a water related activity like Jolly Pirates or Tranquilo or any other snorkel related excursion. Anything through De Palm should run as normal as well. TC_Squared Posted November 6, 2013 #6 Share Posted November 6, 2013 On Christmas Day (in the past) there is a beautiful Mass (in English) on the beach at the Mancheabo Hotel. I would contact them in advance to see if they are having it this year.
