2aussiegolfers Posted October 14, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 14, 2013 Hi all, We are looking at booking some of the golf tours, I'm a little confused at the times on the POA website for booking. I hope someone can answer these questions. It says 7.15am, when I go to book it, but, is that the time we leave the ship or is that the tee time they are booking us, because it says we don't dock till 7am. also do POA provide the transport to the golf course or do I have to organise that myself. I know these sound strange questions but I just don't know, thanks in advance.:)
beeandkmon Posted October 17, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 17, 2013 I would assume it is the time it leaves. If you are booking through the ship I would suggest calling the cruise line directly. They are usually good about answering questions.
lucydebbie Posted October 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2013 My husband did one on the Big Island last month. 7:15 is the time you meet up with your golf pro. Then your group goes to the golf course together. I believe he said they took taxis. The pro provides water and takes pictures of your swing that you can buy later. He seemed to enjoy it. ksimpso3 Posted December 15, 2013 #5 Share Posted December 15, 2013 My husband did the Kauai Lagoons golf excursion last week on our first day in Kauai. The time listed is the time you meet at the golf pro excursion desk on the ship. Then you are brought to the golf course. My husband only wanted to do 9 holes, and this course offered that. You can see the golf course on the way into port...it is beautiful, but beware. My husband said that this course has 27 holes, and since he just did 9, he was kept on the interior of the course and didn't get to play any of the holes overlooking the ocean:(. He was a little upset about that. http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a3cc32b3127ccef48fb9fe584000000030O08EaMWrVq0cg9vPhw/cC/f%3D0/ls%3D00009455501420131214033939663.JPG/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/ http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a3cc32b3127ccef48ff75758ce00000030O08EaMWrVq0cg9vPhw/cC/f%3D0/ls%3D00009455501420131214003635507.JPG/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D720/ry%3D480/ http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47a3cc32b3127ccef48f760c997d00000030O08EaMWrVq0cg9vPhw/cC/f%3D0/ls%3D00009455501420131214005743714.JPG/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/
