Enterprise in Corner Brook, NL

Hi,

 

Has anyone used Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Corner Brook? How did you get to the rental office? (They claim they will pick you up.)

Enterprise advertise that they will pick you up. If they say they will pick you up then they will. The thing to ask is if they will be there to meet you or if you must phone them.

They say they are in the Valley Mall and when I go to the street view for the address, don't see any Enterprise signs. Was thinking of just walking to the office, but best give them a call for pickup.

I live in Corner Brook. They have just moved to this location about a year ago, if my knowledge is right you should book a rental car as soon as possible. They book fast.

I would suggest a tour of Grose Morne. Its an hour and a half from Corner Brook.

What ship will you be on? Maybe I could look at thier shore excursions and tell you the best one to do. There are not a lot of "things" to do in Corner Brook. But the scenery is beautiful.

We are on Celebrity Summit, Wednesday Sept 17. Interested in history & scenery.

DH takes LOTS of pics! Not very adventurous.

Are there any local tour guides, we don't usually do ship tours.

I would try to go on a day trip to Rocky Harbour and Norris Point. The scenery is amazing. It is about an hour and a half from Corner Brook. The drive there is so pretty. You might even get to see some Moose. There is a light house in Rocky Harbour and Norris Point (5 minutes from Rocky Harbour) has the Bonne Bay Marine Station. I try visit there myself at least once a year.

 

I am not sure of local tours but I will see if I can find any information for you.

I have checked around. There are a couple of tour company's that do day trips. Not sure if they only do it through the ship, but when your trip gets closer I will be able to get more information for you. :)
