Gee, you must love your Vodka, to travel all that way just to buy it?

We enjoy a beer or wine, but we also have a 2-3 nights alcohol free! - its so nice to wake up the next morning without any fuzzy head.

As they say alcohol is a poison.

Not that far. Do it all the time. Drink in moderation so you do not wake up with a fuzzy head. :):)

Hummmmm ...................

What was the first miracle Jesus performed? Oh yeah, making good wine with alcohol in it. The Good Book just says to not abuse it ;)

A follow-up question on the market you suggested (thanks!),

Does the market have wine as well as the higher octane beverages? And, is the pricing reasonable for both items? Any other place that might be better to buy wine?

Thanks for your continual help on this board.

By far the most wines in all of French Polynesia will be at this market. Prices? It's all relative, the prices are good by French Polynesia standards .... figure about double what you would pay state side for a similar bottle. The French wines are the best buy followed by New Zealland & Aussie wines.

The Carrefour market is about a 20 minute easy walk from the IC Tahiti. Sidewalks all the way so you don't need to walk in the streets. Tikiintahiti is right, the wine selection is great.
