Are there any camo clothing item restrictions? I carry my beach stuff in a backpack and one port I was unable to leave the ship with it.

It is illegal to wear camouflage clothing in Jamaica as this is reserved for the police and military.

 

This is also true in some other Caribbean islands. Fines are up to $10,000 (USD) and one year in jail.

A friend gave me a camo t-shirt with the caption "I am this many "and it had several hands with fingers totaling 55. I had a guard on the pier at Cozumel ask if I was military. I mean, really? What country would want a 55 year old chunky, out of shape, beerbellied hillbilly in their military?:rolleyes:

 

But to answer your question, like Libra said, it is not legal in many countries.
