I'm so excited to see that B.O.s Fishwagon has Cracked Conch on the menu. It's one of my favorite foods on vacation....maybe of all time. Hoping they have it when we are there in Dec. as I know sometimes that sort of thing is not available. I mean....it is the Conch Republic, right? :)

I carried a friend over a few weeks back and we had two grouper sandwiches, a large fry, a beer and a soft drink and it was almost $40.

 

And the grouper has been on a diet since the last time I ate there.;)

Cracked conch is based on availability. Its against the law to catch or even touch conchs in the ocean so it imported from other islands in the Caribbean.

I think it's the Boathouse, next to Alonzo's, that serves good cracked conch, and it's half-priced during happy hout.
