Can somebody help me with this,

When you get in the ports of St. Thomas-St Maarten

Is it a way you can tell which Taxis or tour buses to get into to take you to beaches and sites to see or a Ferry.

I have heard this is cheaper than taken excursions.

Anybody have suggestions what they did? Certain places they were allowed to go too on their own with no trouble of getting there and back to ship.

and the prices.
