visit Monaco during the Grand Prix

Actually, a very good time to visit, especially if you have at least a passing interest in motor-racing.:)

It's nigh-on impossible to figure the circuit from maps or watching the race on TV. But the circuit will be set-up by then with the Arnco barriers & the pits & such. We were able to walk the course :cool:, it's a pretty short lap, and took in sights such as the casino & harbour as we walked it. Just the odd minor deviation & beware of ending up on a sidewalk with its exit blocked.

Other than the actual circuit, traffic is pretty-well unaffected - as is traffic to & around the Palace & museum & such, high on the hill overlooking the town.

We took the train in from Villefranche, all very quick & easy.
