Warning: Do Not Use Glory Tours!!!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon and initally very excited about the Best of Barbados through Glory Tours. I had read good things on these message boards and the itinerary sounded like exactly what we were looking for.

I emailed Sara requesting a reservation who in turn replied we needed to pay in advance with a credit card. Given the positive reviews I had read I had no problem with this. A few days had passed without word from Sara, yet I noticed our card had been charged. When I gave her my credit card I expected her to email me back to confirm and to give me the details about when and where to meet. Given how hectic it was planning my wedding , I didn't have a chance to follow up with Sara as much as I would have liked, but trusted she would return my emails. On the day we were leaving for the cruise I noticed I still hadn't heard from her and began to worry. I continued to check my email and tried to contact Sara and the rest of Glory Tours.

Two days prior to arriving in Barbados I still had none of the necessary information about the tour- departure time, where to meet, etc so I emailed again from the boat asking for details. I checked my email several times over the next two days and heard nothing. When our ship arrived in Barbados we wandered through the tour departure area looking for Glory Tours of the Best of Barbados to no avail. After over an hour of asking around we finally found a taxi driver who said he thought Glory Tours may have already left. That was as close as we got to finding the tour we had already paid for. We did what we could to make the best of our day in Barbados since it was already noon and most of the tours had already left. When we arrived back home from the cruise I have contacted Sara to ask what happened and for a refund for of our $152 and , two weeks later, have yet to hear from her or anyone at Glory Tours.

I urge everyone to strongly consider the risk of Glory Tours, but if you do deicde to book with them, do everything possible not to pay in advance (and make sure you have backup plans to see a very beautiful island).

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. As you can see from other posts, it appears that Glory tours has gone down hill big time. We are still waiting for a refund of the double charging she did to our account. Let me know how you make out.

I just got off the phone with Glory Tours.

We are travelling to Barbados in September and I would like to condiser Glory Tours based on all of the positive reviews of the actual tour experience but I'm very hestiant based on all of the problems with the credit cards.

According to the woman I just spoke with (might have been Sarah but I didn't ask) ALL OF THE CREDITS WERE ISSUED AS OF YESTERDAY. Now is this another story of have they finally got their act together?

I'll wait for an update from the people who have actually been through hell with this issue before I book. I really hope everyone is able to respond back that they've finally received their credits. I would love to do this tour but I don't want to spoil the experience with months of follow-up torture.
